With over three decades of experience in the beauty industry, Shawna Parvin has built a reputation as one of Austin’s premier stylists and a national force in creative haircutting and styling. A North American Hair Award winner and finalist for Hairdresser of the Year, Shawna is celebrated for her mastery of short, creative haircuts and her ability to blend commercial appeal with an artistic edge.

Her journey began with foundational training under some of the industry’s most respected master hairdressers, where she refined her signature approach—creating looks that are both wearable and visionary. Throughout her career, Shawna has graced stages as a platform artist, appeared in educational videos, and led hands-on cutting and styling classes across the country, inspiring countless stylists to refine their craft and find their creative voice.

Today, Shawna brings her artistry and passion for education to her role as Director of Haircutting Education and Artist at Alchemist Society where she continues to share her expertise in short hair design, editorial styling, and finishing techniques. Her work has appeared on album covers, magazine spreads, and music videos, and she has styled some of country music’s biggest stars for red carpet events and media appearances.
